Bill Mallonee and Stewboss
4th October 2006

We had a great time supporting Bill Mallonee and the main band Stewboss were also exceptional and very friendly. Thanks to everyone who came out in support.

New album
4th October 2006

We're getting there...have heard a rough mix which is sounding great. Those who were at the Bill Mallonee show will have heard both Sixes and Sevens and High Regard, two new songs, both of which went down well.

KQ support Bill Mallonee
5th September 2006

King Quentin will be supporting their all time hero, and one of the greatest living song writers, Bill Mallonee on Tuesday 19th September, at The Boardwalk, Sheffield.

It is true that you may not have heard of him, but here is what the New York Press set about him:

"...the best folk-rock act nobody's ever hear of... The intelligence and intensity of Mallonee's writing has elicited comparisons to Dylan from his loyal underground admirers. Given the consistency and quality of Mallonee's work over eight albums, he is arguably the first writer since John Prine to make the comparison plausible."

NEW ALBUM HAS BEEN RECORDED
31st July 2006

We were (well some of us) in the studio until 3.30am, but it is now done - 8 tracks have been recorded for an EP. There is a lot of post production stuff to happen, and then the design of the artwork - but most of the work is now done. Look out for the new EP some time in the not too distant future.

Buy a CD
24th July 2006

You can now buy "King Quentin and the Defeat of the Primaeval Chaos Monster" (which, lest we forget, is "a slice of raw magic") online. Head over to www.nailthetruth.com look in the Nail the Truth shop, music section: at £6 everyone's a winner!

New Album
20th July 2006

King Quentin are going in to record some new songs at the end of this month, and maybe a reworking of one of the old favourites. ("Meantime" with harmonica anyone?)

Current thoughts for the name of this EP include "Hezekiah Parkin's Punchdrunk Victory Songs"

Sorry, no gigs at the mo.
